What We Treat
At Evo, we don’t think that people need to identify as an “addict” to change the course of their lives.
We see addiction as a coping mechanism in response to dynamic personal and societal factors. We understand that people’s lives are complex. Change is possible for anyone and can look differently for different people.
Evo specializes in working with clients struggling with problematic substance use, focusing on drugs and alcohol. However, we know that addiction exists in many other forms as well. We are open to working with clients that can benefit from the programming we offer and the community we are creating.
Evo actively works with clients with dual diagnoses and multiple diagnoses. In fact, we think it’s nearly impossible for clients to be facing addiction without a multitude of complex factors present in their lives.
Substances Evo works with include:
Amphetamines (like Methamphetamine, known as Meth)
MDMA (Ecstasy, Molly)
Opioids and Opiates
Phencyclidine (known as PCP or Angel Dust)
Aside from drugs/alcohol, other behavioral addictions could include:
Common dual diagnoses include:
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Dependent personality disorder
Eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, purging, overeating and emotional eating
Narcissistic personality disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
The label is not important. What matters is the chance to take the first step.
